ARTIA - Symposium AI

  • Tuesday, August 19, 2025
  • 10:00 AM 5:30 PM 10:00 17:30
  • Societe des Arts et Technologies Montreal Canada (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

The ArtIA Symposium invites you to imagine a digital future where artificial intelligence becomes a shared resource in service of the arts and artists.

Organized by the ArtIA Consortium, a research and experimentation lab exploring the impact of AI on the arts—this symposium is a collaboration between Sporobole, Projet Collectif, and the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT).

The first two editions, held in November 2024 and March 2025, brought together over 95 artists, researchers, and developers to discuss AI commons, tools, infrastructures, and knowledge created by and for the artistic community to foster collaborative and ethical innovation.

The August 19th edition will be a special one: for the first time, the ArtIA Symposium opens its doors to the public!

This full day of talks, discussions, and networking will also mark the official launch of Phase 2 of the ArtIA Consortium, focused on co-developing inclusive, local, and sustainable alternatives to AI for digital creation.

Join us at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montreal.
